Today a curse has been lifted.

A couple of years ago I concocted an MTB ride from KMisperton of about 22K. During my first attempt, my old MTB got totally stuck in the mud and so did I. Then got a puncture. During the second, my chain broke off my new bike and I had to get er indoors to come outdoors to save me, eyeballs rolling. My third attempt ended up catching the wheel on some wire, falling off in a spectacular fashion and doing my shoulder in.

I then ran a slight variation with another PR member, who is still recovering from the experience 6 months later due to slippery antics in the mud.

Today ladies and gentlemen, I ran the 22K on my own and am still alive and well with no sorry tale to tell. So who's up for it next time?
