Pickering Running Club

Well, I have to say I was a bit lonely yesterday. PRC Tri Team's Tess, Steve and Pete all deserted me in favour of some other gruelling training sessions no doubt. Anyway, despite the shabby nail varnish (couldn't be bothered seen as there was no one there to appreciate it), hence, the leftovers from Keswick was still on my toe nails.....I really wasn't myself without the rest of the gang.

Anyway, I'm pleased to report that I got a PB and beat my last years overall time by 11 minutes!! My total time this year was 3hours 20 mins and 44 seconds. I was 27 seconds slower on the swim (ploughing through tonnes of weeds was another new experience for me......even so.....should of and could of gone faster). However, I was 9 minutes quicker on the bike and 3 minutes quicker on the run!!! So all in all quite pleased.

Just got the London Tri in 3 weeks left for this year now. (Unless, I find another towards the end of the season).

See you all on Tuesday night for the Selby 10k. I'm very surprised to find that I'm 6ths in my category which means I must take place in the final race hoping that I can improve my position (if the five who are above me don't run then I might stand a chance?!)
