caroline re 10k race series:
I
attended a meeting last Tuesday night at which I picked up
race numbers and the entry form for the York And District
Road Race League 2008.
I’m
hoping to be at running club next Thursday so I will see
you all there.
Please
could you all put word round about the Races and make sure
everyone knows about it.
I could
do to know who wants to enter ASAP so I can submit the
entry form in good time.
Details
as follows –
The
first race is at Pocklington on Tuesday
6th
May.
There
will be a 10K race every other Tuesday night from then. (6
Races in total)
All
races start at 7.30pm (Except the last one which is the
handicap race which I think starts at
7pm)
The
entry fee is £7. (This includes entry to all 6 races,
plus pie & pea supper, T/Shirts and Trophies, Water
stations, First Aid, Marshalls etc).
Excellent
value for money!
All
participants should wear a Club Vest.
I have
details of everyone who entered last year so they just need
to let me know if they want to do it this
year.
Anyone
who didn’t do it last year needs to email or text me
with their details – Full name, age, birthday, email
address, mobile number.
Anyone
who enters but then doesn’t actually take part must
let me know before the last race otherwise the entry fee
will have to be paid.
As in
previous years, you will get your number in exchange
for your entry fee. You MUST HANG ONTO YOUR NUMBER AND
REMEMBER TO BRING IT TO EVERY RACE. ( You DO NOT get a new
number for each race).
